There has been A LOT to like about the Hoyas' season so far @Footahh took us under the hood of some numbers, and we wrote it up for the site: ‼️KJ+Malik is an ELITE backcourt 📈Caleb Williams has taken a step 💰Cooley is in his bag https://t.co/lHfMyoHbTU

We're four games into the season, and if you've been following along, you know the vibes have been…cautiously optimistic? Dare I say, downright positive? Before we get ahead of ourselves, though,...

And more than anything I just feel for Vince. His breakout was real and hopefully will be real upon return. Kid deserved it so much too Per 40 minutes he was: - 22 pts - 8 reb - 4 blocks - attempting 15 FT 8.5 Box plus minus only trailed KJ on the team (9.0)

Tough news for the program but even tougher news for Vince who was really finding his footing after a lot of hard work following his cardiac event at USC in ‘22/‘23 No doubt he’ll come back stronger than ever and he has the full support of Hoya Nation behind him.

Some fun numbers from this episode... 🔐Georgetown is 7th in the country in offensive turnover rate 🐶Caleb has ONE (!!) turnover in 110 minutes played 🤩KJ Lewis' offensive impact so far is similar to the last two BE POYs Devin Carter & RJ Luis
Did you miss our postgame pod? Great discussion with @Footahh covering: 💯Hoyas deserve high marks for outexecuting a tough Clemson team 🐶The dominant KJ+Mack backcourt 📈Why you shouldn't worry about KenPom (and the Hoyas' metrics are actually good!) https://t.co/l9jtmAbv2Q

🚨🚨NEW POD🚨🚨 YOUR Georgetown Hoyas are undefeated and the only #BigEast squad with two wins over power conference opponents. It's a great day to be a Hoya and relive Georgetown's massive win over Clemson! https://t.co/t392d2yxkU

Georgetown start is bucking the trends of BE teams in marquee noncon games. 2-0 against power conference opponents 4-0 overall *should* enter the MTE against Dayton undefeated This was the best case scenario before the season and Hoyas have delivered so far. #WeWantBYU
Big East’s rough start continues. Outside of Georgetown, league is now 0-10 in games vs. high-major foes after Butler loses at SMU and Marquette drops a home game to Maryland. We’ll see if UConn can get a big one tonight vs. BYU, but this isn’t the start the league needed.

Lot of big plays in this one. To me this might have been the biggest. Just a massive weak side effort from IA. Took two off the board Hoyas went on their biggest run right after this.

"People don't understand that Georgetown has a dynamic backcourt. We absolutely have one of the best backcourts in the country."

"The winning basket of the game was the lob from Malik to Vince. The screen was better than the dunk, and the pass was better than the screen."

"The lead-up to this game started in the summertime. We just played an NCAA Tournament team. It's a great win for Georgetown and the Big East."

"First, I want to thank our crowd. Our students were unbelievable. They were a key factor in the win. I really appreciate them showing up. And I thought our players responded."

Brad Brownell mentioned how much Georgetown looks like they are in midseason form. Difficult to scout and play against...
Thinking about how enormous GLOBL Jam and those two exhibitions were. You played two wars in the first 12 days of the season and took care of business. Off to the races now

Brownell on Students: "They were heckling us, they were tough on us. It was nice to see the players go connect with the students after, that's what this is all about."

"They are a team that's in midseason form because they look so comfortable, they have a lot of defenses and a lot to scout for."

Pressers! Brad Brownell first: "Our first real game. I thought it was a competitive and really good basketball game. Have a lot of respect for Cooley; he's a good dude. Unbelievable XandO guy too."
