If it doesn't matter enough than how can you really be in love? He claims to love Chizuru but won't even look at her in fear she might reject him. Has he really been trying? Or is he just telling himself he has? Maybe he was rejected because he didn't show his love to her.

Kazuya living with his "hope" for an uncertain future is devaluing his love because he's not actually checking to make sure its real. That his actions are ones born of love not a lie hes telling himself. And in not checking he in turn tells his mind, that it doesn't matter enough

Chizuru is done being a replacement. She's done running away. Shes facing her problems head on. Her facing her problems is what brought Kazuya back to her. But Kazuya has to meet her half way. They can't start a relationship in earnest if only one of them is doing their best.

Are you okay not knowing the truth for yourself? Not knowing for certain that your right. Just clinging to this "maybe" to this "hope" that things might work out. What's the point of believing in something if you don't actually put in an effort to make it reality? To be sure.

How can he know Chizuru will date him? He never talked to her. He never asked her. He doesn't even know what the kiss means. He only has Mini's word. And what good is that if Chizuru didn't actually say it? Can you just trust AI telling you something without knowing if its true?

Kazuyas fear of being replaced is something he needed to feel again so he can value these feelings he started to devalue as a byproduct of listening to his AI, Mini, telling him he can just wait and Chizuru will just date him. You cannot love another without loving yourself.

This in turn mirrors Kazuya's fear of being replaced by Umi. His unwillingness to face Chizuru ultimately brought him back to the fear of being replaced. Something he refuses to address in himself and thus treated himself as replaceable while Chizuru values him more than anything

Our ability to face people head on is whats ultimately necessary in our love. We cannot relay on AI to do this. A lie disguised as a truth can never give use the result we want. Just as the superficial cannot replace the internal. They need to coexist not be replaced by the other

It essentially perfectly highlights the issue and boons with AI and social media in our love & relationships through people and technology. Mini being a person who mirrors AI unable to unite them and the phones that seperated them only two chapters ago helping them connect now.

AI cannot create no matter what prompt you give it or what question you ask. However, AI can be used to help if done correctly. Just like how Kazuya uses Mini here. His path is already set, he just needed her to say "you can do it!" She can't do it for him. He has to do it.

This all being depicted through long distance. Through phones. Speaks volumes. When Kazuya speaks to Umi, he holds the phone away from him. Mirroring how we never see Umi up close. But when he calls Chizuru, both hold the phone on their faces. It's how you use the tool.

This makes Umi the perfect contrast to Mini. As he is conflict in harmony. Speaking of love but challanging that concept. His conflict to Chizuru lead to her being able to stop. And his harmony to Kazuya challanged him to move. He maybe an actor but his actions facilitate truth.

To Kazuya, Mini is harmony. An AI that strives to give him exactly what he wants. To Chizuru, Mini is conflict. A constant challange to her to keep moving. This in turn creates a problem. Kazuya does not get challenged to move and Chizuru cannot find peace to rest.
