July is Bone Cancer Awareness Month!📷📷.Bone cancer is a rare type of cancer that starts in the cells of the bones. It can affect any bone, but it most commonly develops in the thigh bone (femur), shin bone (tibia), or upper arm.

Last week, the outreach team made its third visit to the Nasau medical area in Ra as part of the impactful Tatarovi Project. This initiative aims to enhance cancer awareness and support within local communities, in terms of patient support services, menstrual hygiene kit.

The Fiji Cancer Society team will be at Lomary High School to provide information about cancer. Feel free to visit our booth if you have any questions or would like to learn more. We will be offering free breast examinations. 📷

Last week, we had the opportunity of participating in International Albinism Day, an event organized by the Ministry of Health & Medical Services - Fiji. This occasion allowed us to raise awareness about the most common cancers affecting Fiji.
