Fight Crime: Invest in Kids joined 41 other orgs in a joint statement emphasizing the urgent need to ensure that federal child care resources continue to reach eligible families with young children, while maintaining active oversight and accountability.

Mentoring, deflection, and diversion policies as well as evidence-based programs like Multisystemic Therapy and Functional Family Therapy are solutions that can reduce youth incarceration and provide youth the skills to become productive adults.

Law enforcement leaders have long supported parent coaching programs because they know these programs can cut child abuse and neglect by as much as 50 precent.

Investing in approaches that reduce recidivism, increase public safety, and reduce our costs in the long run. Congress should fully fund Titles II and V of the JJDPA to provide these resources to families.
