To be honest I will add that I think with this game they reintroduced a lot of 2000s/authentic JP Sonic elements to see if it lands with a modern audience (my headcanon someone can prove me wrong). If that’s true, then that just tells me some of yall are either hypocrites or just.

Cuz it’s for a Disney JR audience. Sonic is ALWAYS made with that audience first and foremost. We should be grateful if and when they make content with older fans in mind tbh. Even the IDW comics, where do you find those in most book/comic stores? In the children’s section, not.
Yeah I need SEGA to realize that embracing the baby bullshit side of Sonic just doesn’t work. Instrumentals are great, but the lyrics are horrible. Straight out of Disney jr.
