Today…. 2nd Grader: “Guess what my favorite kind of cheese is?”. Me: “I don’t know…what?”. (The cheese lover in me expecting a cheddar or American response but secretly hoping for something more along the lines of feta or Gouda). 2nd Grader: “Shredded”. Me: 😳. @fernbrooknj.

So, to explain AGAIN to those who don’t understand: a severe thunderstorm watch is NOT a promise you will get severe thunderstorms. It indicates that the ingredients are there for a threat. A warning means severe storms are imminent. Think of the taco analogy.
