Congratulations to our Class of 2026 Early Graduates. This special group wont be rejoining us on January 6th for the start of Semester 2 because they worked ahead and already crossed the finish line. Their commitment and motivation are cause for celebration!

We are grateful to the Chicago Bears for their generous $2,000 donation, which made it possible for students and staff to come together on December 4 to unload a mobile food pantry from Northern Illinois Food Bank & distribute nourishment to 200 families in our community.

Final Exams are over! As we reflect back, let's give a huge thank you to the Fenton Jazz Band for easing us into this final week of the First Semester with some great tunes Monday morning. ⁣ Second Semester begins on Tuesday, January 6th.

Students in the performing ensembles represent the best student musicians in Illinois and students in the Future Music Educations Seminar represent our next generation of classroom heroes. They will all unite January 28 - 31 in Peoria. ⁣ Congratulations Ezrael, Jan, and Faith!

▪️ Faith Wrzeciona was selected to represent Fenton in the Future Music Educators Seminar, and she will participate in educational sessions at the All-State Convention. She was selected based on a video application.

▪️ Ezrael Lukman was selected as a cellist for the IMEA All-State Honors Orchestra! ⁣ ▪️ Jan Olmos was selected as a Bass I for the IMEA All-State Choir. This is his second consecutive year being an All-State musician.

Congratulations to Jan Olmos, Faith Wrzeciona, and Ezrael Lukman for being selected for the Illinois Music Education Association (ILMEA) All-State Convention!

Santa is making his way through Fenton offering our students candy canes as a reward for a great first semester, but the Grinch keeps sneaking in to steal the treats! Don't worry, we will win his heart with our Bison Pride and make sure Mr. Grinch has a very Merry Christmas.

Guilt must be proven beyond a reasonable doubt! Students in Accelerated English strengthened their argumentative writing skills by conducting mock trials based on the acclaimed 1954 book "Lord of the Flies." Each class debated Jack's fate after two boys on the island were killed.

The Fenton Board of Education at its November meeting was excited to celebrate boys cross country runner Matthew Andersen for his incredible accomplishment of qualifying to the IHSA Cross Country State Finals.
