@JohnSpringford @Con_Soc If we take the OBR's assumption of a 4% reduction in productivity to be right, and that to have come through by now, that's a £40 bn hit to tax revenues. The 2019-24 parliament raised taxes by £100 bn, so a large chunk would not have been needed.
