The beatings will continue until the Magic improve. 4 in a row. 11 of 15. See you all in Cleveland, Wednesday.

Mitchell is the headliner tonight, and probably goes for 40, but massive minutes from JA and Dean in the 2nd when he sat down.

No world in which DAL is giving up a guy making $9 million and averaging 18/5/4 in the month of January for anything shy of a package with a 1st. He’s NOT a bargain bin trade target. He’s a great role player whose price tag eclipses anything CLE can/should reasonably offer.
Just a detail worth remembering during rumor season. The Cavs can’t legally acquire Naji Marshall in a straight up trade with DAL. They can’t even engage Dallas (a 1st apron team) without a 3rd team involved, as presently neither DAL or CLE can take back more money in a trade.

1.) Wade (6.6 mil) 2.) Craig (2.2 mil) 3.) Proctor (1.3 mil) Total: $10.1 mil (6.5% of the cap) All done without a pick higher than #49 (to say nothing of Tyson) The cheap, playable depth of the Cavs is the story of the 1st half. Few GM’s can rival Koby in this department.

Donovan was held with a field goal in the 2nd quarter, and the Cavs expanded the lead by 5. This is exactly what you want to see out of guys like Tyson and Proctor who combined for 16 points without a miss.

Fantastic game from Evan. One of the season's best. Tip to buzzer aggression and feasted every time Sabonis was on the bench. Cavs did a great job gang rebounding throughout. Huge support from Allen and Tyson tonight.

Yet another example of "Allen is a closer".

Evan smells blood with this rook. I should’ve learned my lesson by now, but I feel like this is going to be an end to end outing.

Nothing more enjoyable than watching yet another Dubs loss due to Draymond’s inability to control his aggression. This is only going to get worse, as they get worse. His true legacy.

There's a lot to be upset about in the 2nd half. But Kenny deserves credit for one thing.... Not playing Lonzo even 1 SINGLE MINUTE after all that Ball family propaganda in the pregame. And we were up by 27 at one point. NBA gonna fine us for resting DG? You get no Lonzo.

Lamelo is 0/7 from deep. Lonzo is yet to log a minute and we’re up 23. Quite the rivalry.

The only “rivalry” happening here is the viewer vs. boredom. Zo can play the whole second half at this pace.

Using a challenge up 28 to 8 is diabolical. But, I hate Grant Williams, so carry-on.

There was 15 years of LeBron/Klutch as a road map for what awaited. The Lakers needed the best possible mercenary to save them from a half decade of sub-35 wins and HE DRAGGED THEM TO A TITLE WITHIN TWO SEASONS. What size ego would be appropriate for that feat?
Jeanie Buss began to turn on LeBron James years ago, per @Baxter - Grumbled about James “outsized ego” - Felt Klutch exerted too much control - Didn’t like how LeBron was considered a savior - Lack of accountability over the Westbrook trade - Privately mused about not giving

OKC is just rubbing salt in the wound now. Guys with 2k names are heaping humiliation upon us. There are levels to this. Our current level is "I think the Cavs can win against DET/NYK". And that's still a toss up.

Largely happy with the fight by the bigs. Sad about the shooting. But Dort vs. Mitchell continues to be a problem, that’s only exacerbated in the absence of Sam/Garland. I’m focused on the east first. Seems like a waste of energy to obsess about OKC until it’s in front of you.
