Finally The Paul Hardy Award. Paul is a long standing figure of the club who’s well respected. He’s never missed a game in the past 10 years. A man who’s well versed in the beautiful game itself. This season he has picked Lewis Brown as he’s award winner. Well done Dash 💪🏻

Captains Player. None other than Luke Hewitt. He’s come in and stamped he’s authority, never pulls out of a tackle and has been mr consistent throughout the season he also managed to get himself a goal in the final game of the season to cap off a great season for him and us.

Managers player. Dean Kalinka. Dean is one of the originals when we first started as a club many moons ago. Was originally a striker, then a ball playing midfielder. This season he’s dropped into centre back and has done a proper job back there. A Rolls Royce defender

Players player. Luke Hewitt, the gaffa worked tirelessly trying to get pen to paper at the start of the season and sealed the deal early on. Luke has come in and we believe we have easily the best full back in the league and so do his peers. Well deserved

Goal of the season. Robbie Williams Filling in for our keeper against New park who are a few divisions above us in the cup. A last min header was awarded gaffer sends everyone up into the box and up pops Robbie with the most crazy headed goal to take it to pens. We won the pens.

Golden Boot award. Matt Oates. He’s the oldest of the team but also the most tenacious in and around the box. Matt adds a wealth of knowledge and strong opinion on and off the pitch and has bagged himself 28 goals in 28 appearances which ain’t bad I suppose.

Most Assists. Lewis brown aka Dash. a”A player who when on the ball thinks about nothing other than running at defenders and slipping a pass or two in to the feet of our strikers. He’s has also popped up with a few important goals himself.

Starting off with most improved. Jack has come in late this season and smashed it. Whilst being the youngest of the team he’s by far one of the most versatile players we have, he can play anywhere but has stamped he’s authority as an attacking full back. The future is bright.

In a game that we needed to win by 6 clear goals to gain promotion we run out 5-2 winners. Close but no cigar. we’ve had a decent season and can honestly say we tried. We go again next season and hope to go one better. Retained list soon to be published. #wesfa #selk.

Crazy match yesterday against @BexleyKnightsFC a bag of goals from both sides . 6-4 winners.

A 1-0 loss in the final is a tough one to take, considering we had the better chances in the game. A couple of worldy saves by the oppos keeper kept them in the game and a goal disallowed for a dubious offside. We will keep our heads held high and go again.
