This report is full of untruths and omissions and FBU reject it. Our priorities throughout this pandemic have been to ensure firefighters can safely support their communities, the NHS, and the care response but sadly it seems the inspectorate, is more intent on attacking the FBU.

Cynical in the extreme for an alleged 'independent' body to use a global pandemic to attack working people's terms and conditions of employment and their right to organise. @HMICFRS has undermined it's reputation yet again with its own clear bias...

@FbuEast As a concerned wife and child I contacted the Chief Fire Officer regarding the safety of firefighters who serve him. I did this privately rather than publicly for a personal response. His response was to block me. Why? Total disregard for firefighters families.

Trade Unions have performed minor miracles all over the country this week saving workers from job losses while we navigate this pandemic. Would be great if a journalist out there allowed the public to hear this story.

🗨 At #FMQs I called on Gov to facilitate talks between Fire Service management and @fbunational so our firefighters can get a fair wage. Due to cuts, firefighters are doing more but being paid less. The Fire Service should listen to TU's and show they value our firefighters.

As councils announce their budgets today, we have seen further cuts to adult health and social care. SFRS is not a sticking plaster for an under-funded health and social care service. Reject the SFRS offer.
