Harassment of a neurosurgeon on London Elizabeth line: I was sitting on the train busy reading a research article& listening to music when these guys came and started harassing/threatening/hitting me without a reason. I changed seats! started filming in the end so they left!
Thank you Jaleed. I was surprised, they really wanted to beat me up, all I was thinking shall I defend and retaliate if they hit me? They did touch my head!
My this year 2023's highlight was my Central London Complex Spine Fellowship

It’s surprising/ fascinating where many centres in the world talk about robotic neurosurgery, navigation, endoscopes, exoscopes, O-arms, MIS, AI
many units in the world still do neurosurgery with Hudson brace and giglee saw

Apologies I should not criticise but technically speaking, my teaching to the med students and first year residents is always that the towel after drying the elbows should not come back to the hands! 😅
I remember once, my colleagues in the theatre were discussing the mountains of British Columbia/Colorado/Alberta and then one of them suddenly turned to me and said oh what are we telling you, Pakistan has proper mountains and glaciers!

i totally second you. This can’t be an accident for sure. It’s really heart wrenching and disappointing how senior so called Professors in Pakistan endorse heinous crimes when it comes to their test. There are no morals left in the country!!
@nsgyrapidreview
Very important concept. There is a traversing root and an exiting root. If you have a central or paracentral disc bulge, the nerve irritated/compressed is traversing root which is the L5, if the disc is far-lateral, the nerve impinged is L4.

Dr. Baaj, it has been a great meeting and at that time was a great utilisation of time to discuss spine surgery. I have been following it for 3 years, must say very informative and worth listening every time I join. Thank you for your efforts.
@sufisal
Junoon music is literally fuel for my soul every morning on the busy London train. Charges me every day. Each and every song especially your guitar work is so divine! Literally!

Congratulations Fatima. Well done. Professor Enam is truly a blessing for aspiring neurosurgeons in Pakistan.
Best wishes for future endeavours.

Never did hemicraniectomy with such a small incision, ideally should be a big question mark incision for 12X12 or 14x14 craniotomy. If they have removed bone from behind the incision, even the incision for cranioplasty will be a big challenge, in my LMIC experience.

. Human rights violations in Kashmir is not acceptable. For a piece of land one cannot kill all it's people and suppress their voice. Bullying, killing & human rights violations is not acceptable in any dignified society.

If you earn in USA/UK and spend/live in Karachi! Unfortunately if you live in these cities you earn according to their payscale which is logarithmically low and if you earn in US/UK then you have to spend there, so they are not cheap at all!
@stats_feed
Not true.
An average Pakistani earns about 230-300 pounds a month or may be less.
An average Pakistani at the moment is financially devastated/ crippled. These statistics are comparing apples with oranges!
