🎗️What is a mammogram? It’s an X-ray of the breast used in the NHS Breast Screening Programme to help detect #BreastCancer early, often before symptoms appear. Breast screening saves around 1,300 lives each year in the UK. For more information:

🔍 What is a #FASTMRI scan? It’s an abbreviated breast MRI that takes 3 to 5 minutes to acquire (vs ~20 mins for full MRI). It’s designed to spot aggressive breast cancers irrespective of breast density. It’s safe and painless #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth

💎 Stage 2 of the DYAMOND study involves having the FAST MRI scan. If your screening mammogram shows average breast density, you may be invited to have a FAST MRI scan. The scan itself takes 3–5 mins, but the whole appointment would last up to 45 mins. #NHSResearch #BreastCancer

💎 The DYAMOND study will test if a FAST MRI scan can detect cancers not seen on mammogram. In Stage 1, we will use your mammogram images to measure breast density. Eligible women with average breast density will be invited to join Stage 2. 👉More info:
