Way to go, @petermarteka. It was an honor to be Peter's editor for a time during my years at the @hartfordcourant.
This week is the 28th anniversary of my first column exploring Connecticut’s natural world. I was recently recognized for my efforts by the Connecticut Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, an award which has been handed out every year since the 1930s.
