Congratulations to the JV Baseball Team for clinching the SI Division by defeating Sea 6-2 yesterday. Pitchers Vin Johnston and Ryan McGovern combined for the win. Justin Klayman led the offense with two big RBIs to put the Lions ahead for good.

The JV Baseball team defeated St. Francis Prep yesterday 9-6, improving their League record to 11-4. Nick Muglia, Jack Fitzgibbons and Ben Matlin did a fine job on the mound. Bryan Birkhead led the offense with 2-hits (1B, 2B) and four RBIs. Alex Columbia hit a long triple.

JV Baseball: Starting Pitcher, Ryan McGovern allowed only 1-run over 5.2 innings, and Relief Pitchers, Jack Fitzgibbons and Ben Matlin did not allow a run in relief. The Lions improve their League record to 11-3.

The JV baseball team defeated St. Peter's today 2-1. The Lions were down 1-0 in the final inning before Mike Dattoli knocked in Joe Cocozza to tie the game. In extra innings Mike Seta knocked in Charlie Marchica for the win.
