Our prayers go out to the victims of the attack on the Synagogue in Manchester and for the wider Jewish Community. Today, on Yom Kippur, we reiterate the words of St John Paul II that antisemitism is a sin. We stand as Christians with our Jewish brothers and sisters against hate.

Delighted to hear that Pope Leo XIV will declare St John Henry Newman to be a Doctor of the Church. Newman holds a special place in the hearts of many English Catholics, including here at Farm Street Church, where Newman preached on at least one occasion.
