Something that's been on the mind for a while: all the "cry about it" edits that replace Ashley or Andrew just prove the original image's point better than Nemlei herself ever could. They did, in fact, cry about it.

And if it turns out she dies in-game, I won't be retconning her survival. Same goes for any other events or revelations in future episodes, in case my fics say one thing but the game says another. Keep in mind that's for events; characterization is still a priority.

Normally I'd leave it ambiguous until the game gave an answer, but I think The World Keeps Turning alluded to her being alive. That's my current answer.

Across the whole AU, Oak & Linden is 1999-2000, The World Keeps Turning is June 2004, and May I Have This Dance is somewhere in-between. Andrew & Ashley moved to Kirkegard in October 2004, Alex was born in March 2005, and Aleister & Lilith were born in 2011 & 2013 respectively.

I'm very flattered to hear I'm one of your favorites :) I always interpreted TCOAAL as being in 1999, so Family Crypt would start in 2019 (20 years later), though current chapters are in early 2020 (no pandemic chapters). The flashbacks in Chapter 5 would be in 2010 & 2014.

I mostly just kept their names for convenience while writing. Realistically they'd have different aliases. If 3A came out before I started I'd maybe have them go by Jacob & Tanya, though I'd still probably keep "Graves" as their surname for the fankids.

...Yes, this means they're posing as a different Andrew & Ashley Graves. But hey, neither their first nor last names are rare. They could just say "no, not that Andrew & Ashley Graves." Ashley also does have a fake maiden name (I imagine she goes with Renee's, whatever that is).

Not a stupid question, don't worry. Honestly, I imagine they have forged documentation. Fake IDs, fake marriage certificate, so on... Also, it's not something I get into a lot, but Family Crypt is set abroad from TCOAAL. Kirkegard is VERY unfamiliar with the events of the game.
