What's happening in Burkina Faso, Mali & Niger is a response to several years of plunder, exploitation & destruction by colonisation & neo-colonialism. It's foolish to interpret it as a simple power grab by the military or through the lazy lenses of "electoral democracy" bla bla

Most "equitable partnership frameworks" in int'l research partnerships reinforce the dominance of Eurocentric knowledge production & make superficial changes in the final stages of knowledge production, i.e. on the division of labour, resources & access. @PerivoliARC @huma_africa
