The older I get, the more I realise the quiet struggles of my parents, cutting their own needs and still putting a smile on their face. You can never fully repay your parents, not for the worn-out clothes or the times they said “I’m not hungry” when there wasn’t enough food. 😭❤️.

Met my Ex after long. She said cooking & cleaning are basic life skills, not gender roles. I said ‘hmm’ and paid the bill, booked her Rapido and said, “Paying your own bills should also be a basic skill, no?”. She still hasn’t texted if she reached home. Equality got off there.😌.
