FVSU is mourning Mr. Jalen Bristol, a freshman student who passed away on Saturday. Bristol, was a criminal justice major and student-athlete who was a member of the track team. Our thoughts, prayers and heartfelt condolences are with his family and friends. Arrangement pending.

A seat in C.W. Pettigrew Auditorium remained draped in black in memory of Anitra Gunn throughout the candlelight vigil held in her honor Monday, February 24.
FVSU is deeply saddened to learn about a male sophomore student that passed away this evening. Our hearts go out to the family, friends and others who knew and loved him. We know many of you are grieving, and we share in that loss.
They married at FVSC in 1958. His father H. Bernard Holston ‘84 was a member of the Blue Machine Marching Band. 💙💛
He is also a third-generation member of the Gamma Zeta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. (Fall ’60, Spring ’81, Spring 21)
