Congratulations to Julie Brown who has been appointed the new Chief Financial Officer at GSK. Julie will take up the position in May 2023 at which point GSK will be a rare company that has women in both the Chief Executive and Chief Financial Officer roles.

#FTSE250 representation of women in all key functional roles has increased again in the year, or remained broadly similar, excepting the #CIO where there remains significant opportunity. There has also been a modest, but welcome increase in the number of women #FinanceDirectors.

Women in key, decision-making roles are now commonplace. The representation of women CIOs, and Company Secretaries in #FTSE100 companies increased during 2021, countered by a marginal dip in the General Counsel and Finance Director roles, and HRDs where women tend to dominate.
