okay those last two big patches did wonders because we are SO back.

i fucking hate this software

logitech g hub literally JUST work challenge (impossible).

the voice acting is also just a bit over the place and feels unfitting, maybe it's just having the original performances in my head but it is hard to get used to.

so far dead rising deluxe remaster looks shockingly dated for an RE engine game. should've gone the full remake route really because the attempt at realistic graphics mixed with the awkward (but charming) cutscenes of the original is a strange mix.

Love that one of the videos of the rioters has some shirtless fatass with Nazi tattoos, exactly the kinds of people these riots are for.

Current UK riots are just an excuse for disgusting racist pieces of shit to attack people of other cultures and races and pretend it's all for a good cause or something.

I don't know about most people but I legitimately don't think I've ever met a person in real life from my country that isn't racist at least on some level.

Lies of P - 8/10. Extremely fun combat, a bunch of cool unique ideas that make it more interesting than even some of From's titles and also the most fun bosses I've fought in any Soulslike. It's extremely linear and that's really the only major complaint I have. Amazing game.

The Ringed City - 9/10. Really good DLC, cool locations, some cool enemies, a bunch of new weapons that are actually interesting. Appreciate that the giant swamp *isn't* a poison swamp. The invader boss thing is kinda shitty but Midir and Gael are top tier bosses.

Ashes of Ariandel - 6/10. Honestly not the most exciting location, some annoying and tanky enemy types and one of the only two bosses is just an NPC with a scaled up giant wolf as its companion. Not the worst but honestly I prefer most areas from the base game.

Also not the most exciting roster of weapons hence the 8 and not a 9.

There is definitely less of a spark when Nameless King only took me one try compared to the hundreds it once took me, but I still love this game.

Dark Souls III - 8/10. The best Souls game imo, people say it's too linear but as someone who never really tries different orders of locations in these games it doesn't affect me. The bosses are also super cool but Elden Ring has just made these games almost too easy for me.

There's a lot of stinker boss fights and the majority of the environments are really ugly and sometimes feel unfinished or empty. DLCs were especially aggravating though they do have the best fights in the game. Sihn, Fume Knight, supposedly Old Ivory King. So it has that.

Dark Souls II Scholar - 5/10. Seriously did not enjoy my time with it this time, I assumed it would given 6 years had passed since the last time but every new area had enemy encounters that pushed me further and further to a new level of annoyed.

Game has some insanely good boss fights too, getting the rhythms down and executing everything near flawlessly just feels so satisfying. Guardian Ape is still my favourite boss fight of all the Soulsborne titles.
