I like Rosenior and think he’s a good coach. I don’t expect much to come out of a stint at Chelsea (relative to the expectations of a Chelsea manager), given the [work] constraints he’ll undoubtedly face, but I’ll be more than happy to have him at Brighton someday.

11/11. Minteh on the left is the more risk-averse (and cross-heavy) option, since it keeps him away from Hume (where he could risks being dispossessed) and can build upon existing connections/relationships. Minteh’s better on the right if you need an outlet (which Brighton do).

Nothing like a manager who's younger than some of the players to make you feel old - just ask Georginio Rutter! 😄

Playing Brennan Johnson, a back-post crasher who’s darn good at what he does but not much else, as a wingback, is certainly a choice.

I’m retweeting this for two main reasons: 1. This tweet is funny, and I can’t stop laughing at it. 2. It gives me an excellent platform to start pushing some heavy and overwhelmingly positive discourse on Tyler D(r)ib(b)ling 🙂
Physical metrics are shit. Set pieces are shit. I only want dribbly boys. This is real ball. https://t.co/4pZ3PWwkPL

David Luiz made his debut for Benfica as a substitute, coming on in the first half. He made a couple of [big] errors, and his manager asked him if he wanted to be taken off. Luiz firmly said no, and later called it a decision that increased his trust in himself and gave him a

Keith Andrews strongly defends Dango Ouattara after his failed Panenka. “I am not annoyed at all. The easiest thing for a footballer to do is not take a penalty. “I despise the culture around players that have missed penalty kicks. National heroes that have been ridiculed and

While this is a big deviation from my usual content, I thought I’d give cricket analysis a go. Any feedback would be massively appreciated. If there’s interest, I’m happy to set up a site solely for cricket too. And please follow @InstinctiveCric if you like cricket. Enjoy ❤️
SANJU SAMSON - ALL ACTIONS I watched Sanju Samson's performances in the T20 World Cup to gauge where his career goes from here. — Excessively leg side dominant? — Footwork and balance — The woes of a loopy bat swing — Calmness under pressure LINK IN REPLIES 👇🔗

Would anyone be interested in a cricket (Jacob Bethell and/or Sanju Samson) scouting report?

Whether those marginal gains are worth sacrificing is another matter, but he does platform his players better than most managers out there, and for a side who’s primary objective (currently, anyway) is profit, that’s great.

This thought has been stuck in the back of my mind for a long, long time now, and I’m not entirely sure how to feel about it. I think Hürzeler’s tactics leave marginal gains on the table (given a... questionably built squad), but his ideas and implementation [of said ideas] are
