The research is clear: supporting foster youth after they turn 18 has a positive impact on them for years. I was so glad to deliver $500,000 in funding for @FPFY to acquire and renovate affordable housing next to @PCCLancer for young adults transitioning out of foster care.

First Place for Youth, Heritage Housing Partners, Pasadena City College, and Pasadena Community Foundation are opening the first housing unit near PCC’s campus dedicated for transitional-age foster youth. @LAist
