Want to know How to Build a Cemetery in 1867? Our @heritageopenday weekend starts Thursday 18th September and ends on Saturday 20th. All days are 10am-4pm at the Community Hub chapel. We've got some great displays this year. Pop in and see us next weekend - we'll stick kettle on!

Happy International Dog Day! We absolutely adore our furry visitors, but what we don't love is when owners are irresponsible. Please help us to celebrate today by picking up after your dog, and keeping your dog on a lead at all times when in the cemetery. #InternationalDogDay

⚠️Storm Floris: The worst of the storm won't reach Wombwell, but the wind is getting up a bit, so please be mindful. Watch out for flying debris and let us know if any large branches come down. Our thoughts are with Scotland, Wales, Ireland, and higher Northern areas - stay safe.

We've just done a clear out of our old 'cabin' and the compound next to it. The compound revealed some old stones from the Peace Garden, perfect for this year's @heritageopenday event with the theme of Architecture! Can't wait to put together a display!!

Thank you everybody who came to our Carols in the Community Hub event! It was lovely to see everyone. Our first services were held in the chapel before it was renovated. We stood in the cold, on uneven dirt floors... How far we’ve come! Merry Christmas, everyone!
