If you struggle to play against the London, here is my advice:
Play this system, go Ne7, Nf5, Be7, Nd6 and then Nfe4 with f6 ideas.
I use it against lower-rated players and it’s very effective.

I agree with Magnus. Even at a top level, security measures aren’t taken seriously in all the world. Arbiters must be more strict on this
1/2 I was completely crushed in my game today. This is not to accuse my opponent of anything, who played an amazing game and deserved to win, but honestly, as soon as I saw my opponent was wearing a watch early in the game, I lost my ability to concentrate.

Advice for intermediate players: learn the openings by pawn structures and pieces’ ideas. Don’t learn them by heart (there are exceptions though)

The biggest struggle in chess is not endgames, tactics, strategy, or preventing blunders.
It’s what the fuck to play as black when white starts with 1. d4.
