Going against Salah costs me a few points on average, but my preference for risk made this a very attractive sacrifice! So far, I've got lucky. It can be really tough to get visibility of & evaluate ideas like this if you're only looking for the best average over a single path.

In FPL, countless decisions lurk below the best-average-outcome surface. Sometimes, the most important difference between these and an "optimal" plan isn't the average outcome, but the shape of all likely outcomes (risk level).
