John Godwin OBE, OFR (1928-2023) who embraced Lagos - his home for +60 years- and took Nigerian citizenship. In a wonderful partnership with Gillian Hopwood, chronicled the city's history & battled to conserve its heritage. RIP John. Your work endures.

You and your Dad are a beacon to us all. My 'faith' slipping. I show each new refurb prospect their EPC (flawed I know but still useful)....but the issue is soon sidelined in favour of space and the new kitchen! Energy saving activity has to be supported by legislation.

I have the same sense of unease as when I saw the proposal for the Marble Arch Mound. Not sure the client was involved in the design process.
