Farewell, OTT Airlines. China Eastern has announced that it will absorb it's fully-owned subsidiary OTT Airlines and it's entire ARJ fleet. This means MU will operate the Chinese made ARJ21 under its own branding alongside the C919.

ICYMI: this is what happened.

We passed the burnt Ethiopian 777F on the CZ C919 this morning. This one caught on fire while loading cargo at Shanghai Pudong International Airport back in 2020. Rumour is that insurance claim and logistic formality resulted in the airframe remained in PVG for years.
