#POCUS is a tool of value to anyone who looks after unwell patients...whatever their age, wherever they're assessed. The sooner it becomes standard of care, the better. Great work!

No abdo/renal picture but another productive day DVT + peripheral vascular access today and a chance to consolidate the learning from the rest of the week Tomorrow we have local MSK teaching and some governance and accreditation pathway discussions It's been a cracking week!

🚨*big news alert*🚨 The new AIM curriculum is approved and includes mandatory #POCUS competencies. All future @acutemedicine trainees will have skills in lung, abdo/renal & DVT scanning, alongside US guided vascular access. Great news for the specialty and our patients!
