I still can't get over the fact that you can spend $3,000 on a new PC and it still won't be able to run Borderlands 4 at 60 fps

"Best Borderlands ever" he said. Then when the hype dies, goes back to a BL2 series and makes posts like these or "was BL4 open world a good idea". Wé love it
I did a quick check to see how many legendary weapons we got for "base game" BL3 vs BL4. BL3 has a whopping 148 legendary weapons in base game while Borderlands 4 only has 78. BL3 has almost double what BL4 has! I'm so confused on why BL4 seems to have less of everything :(

Gaming is such in a sad state. Pay 70$ to play* (*:trade quality or performance or both **) (** if you have a 4 digit price GPU) or just, quote, accept that this is now the norm. But hey, at least BL4 creator eat well right? Yeah...

And you'll have these kind of guys making hyperbole about how it "THE BEST ™*"( *: they were at some point paid to play) and completely brush off the shit that came with it, under cover off "hey, it's the best opus of the franchise ever, we can't say that"

We live in a world where companies can just run into the ground a franchise, shit a slightly *better* opus some years later, half assed, bare minimum, brought out by marketing claims, not accessible to a good portion of the playerbase due to 'next gen graphics' and profit

It's not. You're just a Borderlands content creator that needs BL4 to work to live of it. Nothing wrong with that, but your expectations are NOT met just because it's better than BL3. BL4 is a mess. An another AAA released too soon.
I’ll say it… #Borderlands4 is THE BEST Borderlands game now. Story, gameplay, open world, collectibles, boss fights, Legendary loot feeling more Legendary. This is the one. Please @GearboxOfficial stick the landing with the Raid Bosses, Pearlescents (don’t forget to bring back

🧵In 2020, I nearly died from mysterious industrial chemical exposure at my home. Later I discovered my employer was dumping toxic waste into our windows from their Skunkworks semiconductor fab next-door. I tipped off EPA, who raided them in 2023. EPA just sent me the report 💀⬇️

Je suis trop content quand j'vois ce genre de post, genre dès fois que tu dois que tu sois pas intelligent, tu sais au moins que tu l'es plus qu'un autre 🙏
Thanks to the EU we have one more screen during the iPhone onboarding 🤡 Not everyone knows what a "browser" is, far from it. Why not ask for a default music player, default mail app, default camera app, while we're at it 😅

Old infrastructures that works don't need to be subjected to the insanity of cloud : PaaS/SaaS/IaaS and IaC won't solve the fact that 30y-o IMB P8 running AIX 7.1 haven't crashed/rebooted for sometimes more than 50000hrs

However, to get back to the point, On-prem infrastructures still have a long life in front of them, with/without VMware. Migrating everything to a "cloud" is most of the time not even possible : lack of support of OSes, locked L2/VRRP, constant push for updates ...

Our company is actively considering taking active steps to either migrate out of|reduce our dependency on VMware products. I am personnaly stuck with a open SR with them since Oct 2023... And it has become apparent how fucking disastrous mngmnt has become

They are reaching critical mass. The loss of the support of the free tier for DIY user (like me, AT home) and their never ending engulfing of solutions/products to "enhance" their suite is a display of complete and utter lunacy

This only means we have become too dependent on VMWare. Working in a company that works with OCI, Azure and On-prem infrastructures mostly centered on VMWare produits, let me tell you how much I would love for VMWare to come crash down back to earth, and become sensible again....
The dissolution of VMware will be the single largest catalyst of shifting to the cloud that we’ll ever see.
