Ahhh my book won the Wright Family Foundation Esther Glen Award for Junior Fiction at the New Zealand Book Awards for Children & Young Adults on Wednesday night! .This is a huge honour, I’m so stoked! (Told my cats, they were slightly less stoked and more indifferent)

It’s so cool to see Detective Beans out in the world! .I used to visit this children’s bookshop all the time (shout out to Little Unity) and wish one day I’ll have a book in the window and now I have not only one, but TWO!! 😻😻
