We’re trying to get into the spirit of the fall season here at the PD. 🍁 🎃 Anyone who has ever worked a night shift can relate to our painted pumpkin on display in dispatch. 😛 Thanks to the night owls out there who keep our world spinning while everyone else sleeps!

Are you missing a power wheelchair? One was found on Sept. 21 in the area of Tan Lane. Surveillance video showed some young people riding around on the wheelchair before the battery died and it was abandoned. If the wheelchair belongs to you, please contact us at 603-772-1212.

Our friend John Roberts is at it again! He made more of his cool paper models and dropped off his latest works of art. In recognition of Exeter’s UFO Festival and our commemorative police patches, John created paper models of an alien and Maple and generously donated them to us.

Lt. Devin West got a little help with traffic enforcement from a group of seniors who gathered outside the Exeter Senior Citizens Center today and learned how to use a hand-held lidar speed detection device. They were aiming to slow drivers down and it seemed to work.

When Ofc. Garcia encountered kids riding bikes without helmets today, he returned to the PD, threw some helmets in his cruiser, and headed back to the neighborhood to hand them out. “As soon as they saw me come by, they all came running. It was like I was Santa Claus,” he said.
