what really gets me about the first slam dunk, is it's directed by an already legendary 2d manga artist. he made an adaptation of his /own/ manga. he already mastered one format and he shows he can do it again uniquely in another!.

anyone who still hates on cgi anime is still living in the 2010s xd. sure it used to be used more as a time-saving replacement for 2d, but we now see its uniqueness utilized way more. seeing a modern cgi anime like the first slam dunk should change your mind immediately.
Cgi should be praised just as much when it's done correctly. I mean, just look at this .
