The motherboard is now ready to install, but I’ll have to do the upgrade after work. I don’t want to rush it.

I just got SNES working on my analogue pocket, it’s actually insanely easy. Just drag and drop. I did download the ROM, but I at least own the game. I would RIP it myself if I could though.

I just found this clone tropper action figure that I colored in with a sharpie around 2009 or so. Here it is with two different lighting angles.

I’ve been troubleshooting how to get a CDROM working on this 486 all morning, I cannot for the life of me figure out what’s wrong. My Panasonic drive isn’t working, so now I’m trying the ide header on the ESS audiodrive. Does anyone have experience getting the ide working on one?

I love how this Spider-Man game for DOS just reused the amiga diskette, but they just scribbled out amiga with a sharpie.

Unfortunately the video card is marginal. World in dos, but is unstable in graphics mode(as well as any text mode applications) so back to the original card.

I just booted up the machine, and the 5.25” drive works. Though this one diskette I got from VCF does not.

All the cards are installed, probably the most cards I’ve had in a system. Next stop is pulling out the other 486 to take the 5.25” drive out, then install it. After that it’s probably hours of configuring.

I also plan to try the 5.25” drive I have installed in my other 486 in here, because I have some games on that format I want to play. Not sure if it’ll work though.

Working on installing some of the upgrades for the system that @RetroTechChris sent me. So far I have the VLB AVGA3, an ESS Audiodrive, and a Panasonic interface CD-ROM. I still need to install the interface card and the PicoGUS. I have to say, the drive fits this case well.

Probably a mostly unnoticed change in iOS 26 beta 2, but they’ve updated the look of old Siri to match better with the new ui.

Found my first bug with iOS 26. The folders show dark mode icons when closed even when I don’t have dark mode enabled.
