20. Recent interview revealed that Forte allowed Phoenix Labs 3 months to try and find a new owner for Everhaven, but Forte stopped them 1 month in and laid off the dev team. Forte mentioned they currently aren’t looking for funding on paused projects.

Sad to say but Phoenix Labs may be on its last legs, just another victim of Forte’s parasitic methods in buying studios and shutting them down if they aren’t fit for bl$&kchain.

Forte talks big about investing in their tech but all they’ve been doing the most noteworthy is shutting down games and game studios after buying them when the games there don’t fit their needs. They are parasites, and it should be called out more and more people should be aware.
