this is the story of a photographer who happens upon a patch of butterflies in the woods. when she gets the film developed from that day she realizes that she wasn't alone in those woods. Death was there all along, orchestrating the beauty.

we decided to shoot the video in a more remote location so we didn't run the risk of seeing that ranger again. this delay in shooting led to a few butterfly casualties, to whom i'd like to dedicate this video to now...

another hiccup was when we were leaving the park on the first day of shooting and a ranger stopped us and almost gave us a ticket for filming without a permit. luckily he didn't see the giant scythe we were carrying...

this time last year @GeniusMilitary and I filmed the video for my song "butterflies". it was really funny trying to wrangle 250 butterflies. they do not take directions very well, but we got a few good shots in the end
