Congratulations to the entire team of artists behind yesterday’s joyous opening of Die Zauberflöte @MetOpera. 10 remaining performances through April 26!.

The musical landscape is enhanced by our partners on stage right (live illustrator Blake Haberman), stage left (Foley artist Ruth Sullivan) and the audience, resulting in a fully immersive experience that breaks the forth wall and breaths new life into Mozart’s score.

This production unwraps the inner workings of opera: the brilliant @METOrchestra is placed front and center, making chamber music with the stellar cast and @MetOperaChorus in a way that would have been familiar to Mozart in 1791.

Thousands of high school students attended the dress rehearsal for Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte at the @MetOpera , bringing an electric energy to the theater! We open this Sunday, March 23rd. See you there!.

Such a joy to return to @MetOpera for Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, opening March 23! Simon McBurney’s imaginative production makes its highly anticipated return to the Met stage following a sold-out run in 2023.

Earlier in the week, @violincase & @tilerpeck curated an epic ‘Night Cap’ featuring two pieces by Carlos & brilliant performances by Amaryn Omeda, Seth Parker Woods, Conor Hanick, Roman Mejia and India Bradley.

We all left the @LincolnCenter differently than we had arrived.

Sat night @nyphil, @violincase gave a revelatory perf of Brahms‘ Violin Concerto. Her poise, grace, fire & lyricism transported the audience. After the Brahms & an encore of Carlos Simon‘s ‘Shards of Light’, there was a sense of unity & shared understanding amongst the audience.

Rehearsals begin this week @MetOpera for Simon McBurney's production of Die Zauberflöte. What a cast! I’m so excited to be collaborating with these incredible artists, @METOrchestra & @MetOperaChorus on a show that places the mechanics & magic of Mozart’s music front & center.

Beyond its natural wonders, what makes this place so special is the infectious warmth and joy of its people. My deep thanks to all of the OA artists, musicians and team members who have made my time down under unforgettable. @OperaAustralia.

Tonight marks my final performance in this magical run of Cendrillon with @OperaAustralia. Conducting at the @SydOperaHouse & exploring Australia for 2 months has been a dream.
