Excited to share that I am beginning a full-time position outside of journalism with the Lowell Housing Authority. I will remain as a freelancer now with The Eagle-Tribune and have other personal thoughts/posts on here. Thank you to everyone who helped me get to this point.

First time running the Feaster Five, and I had an absolute blast. Always helps getting a PR, too. Highly recommend anyone joining it next year !
FYI: if you’d like to register for Feaster Five Road Race, it’s not too late. Get to Andover/North Andover YMCA on Haverhill Street. You can sign up and get bib now. But must be there before 6 PM tonight. For anyone who lives near the Merrimack Valley this is a must-do event.

It’s official. UMass Lowell grabs their highest ranked recruit in program history. Cannady is a four star via ESPN, and the No. 188 player in 2026 at On3. This is the biggest recruiting pickup in America East history. The impact that Tee Johnson has in Lowell is huge.

Whittier Tech’s Kevin Bradley will have his story shared on NBC Nightly News tonight at 6:30 PM. The 64-year-old has been battling tongue cancer courageously. Bradley coaches football, boys volleyball, and girls basketball at Whittier. He’s also the Athletic Director.

Cannady is a four star via ESPN. Ranked top 250 in 2026 at @247Sports, the guard would also be the highest rated recruit in @RiverHawkMBB history. We’re already seeing the impact that Tee Johnson will have on UMass Lowell. This would be awfully significant.

Methuen has hired Jordan Britton as their new varsity baseball coach. Britton was previously the head coach at Sanborn Regional from 2021-23, and was an assistant at Haverhill in 2024. The Haverhill native attended Whittier Tech and graduated in 2011.
