@abejonesII10 @MoCoSentinel Thank you! I really appreciate it. And thank you for letting me interview you and Aaron and tell his story

I only hope that I succeeded. Thank you for the privilege. Please know that the pleasure was all mine. I don't believe in goodbyes, so this isn't goodbye for me. I hope to see every MoCo athlete do big things and make us all proud. Thank you for letting me tell your stories.

I was so grateful. So incredibly grateful. I will never, ever forget where I started and where I came from. I will forever be grateful to The Sentinel for giving me that chance. Ever since 7/30/15 I have put my all into trying to write quality stories worthy of your time

I got to sit in a press box with head coach Dan Makosy and write a story on him before he passed away. These are all memories I will never forget. In 2018 I got to cover 8 Redskins home games. Know that I'm not exaggerating when I tell you that I sobbed on the way to every one

I was there to watch players like Marquez Cooper, Jake Funk and Adrian Feliz-Platt break state records. I was at @JFK_Sports gym when a woman in a wheelchair sung the national anthem more beautifully than anybody I've ever heard live or on TV

I sat in the parking lot afterward and cried like a child with thankfulness & disbelief. I was 30. That was "too old" to follow your dream, wasn't it? (Spoiler alert: you're never too old) Since that day, I have been there to witness amazing athletic feats and tremendous stories
