Yesterday was the final day - 60 miles through Oxnard and along the Malibu coastline into Santa Monica. 500 miles and over 24,000 feet of climbing to benefit everyone dealing with the various forms of arthritis. Go AF!

Last post was Day 5. Today’s ride started by the coast in Oceano and took us into Guadalupe and the farmland around Santa Maria then transitioned into the hills and Foxen Canyon and vineyard country

Day 6 was spent cycling through San Luis Obispo county. Rode through Cayucos (obligatory stop for the Brown Butter Cookie Co.), Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo and Pismo Beach. Turri Road is one of my favorite parts

Day 4 started with a bus ride from Big Sur to Paso Robles due to the closure on Hwy 1. The ride out to Carmel took us through Paso Robles vineyards with some very tough climbs (13% grades!!!) and gorgeous shaded back roads.

Catching up with Day 7 of the ride. 87 miles from Buellton through Solvang, down Alisal road. This year my daughter did the ride with me for the second time!

Day 6 went inland around Santa Maria, through Orcutt and down into Santa Barbara County wine country. Nice view after a particularly nasty climb in Foxen Canyon

Today we rolled out of Cambria with a cold, wet morning. Pretty quickly clears up as we went through Cayucos and Morris Bay. Then through SLO and Pismo Beach.

The biggest surprise first time I did this ride was 6000 kids dealing with Juvenile Arthritis. Met teenagers who had already had multiple joint replacements. That’s why we ride.

73 miles from Big Sur to Cambria today with over 6000 ft of climbing. A little foggy but still impressive
