Are you an American Legion team looking for more games for the 2026 season? Pate and Newburgh will be hosting a tournament June 25-28. We're looking for at least one more team. No cost yet, but we're basically going to charge whatever we need for umps, baseballs. Interested?

REMINDER: The tryouts for junior legion are tonight at 6 p.m. at North High School.

-EUGENE PATE POST 265 JUNOR TEAM- Pate will be having a tryout next Tuesday 6pm at North for a Junior team. Any freshman, sophomores and juniors not playing on travel team next summer can tryout.

Pate goes down 17-11 to Funkhouser in the regional. Alec Schwartz and Simon Schulz each led the offense with 2 hits. Jake Tenbarge threw 2 shoutout innings in relief.

Pate loses 16-10 against Rockport and will now play the winner of Funkhouser/Princeton at 7pm. Tyler Rinehart had 2 hits including a home run. Simon Schulz, Conner Watson, Mason Renfro and Alec Schwartz each had 2 hits.

Today’s game with Rockport has been suspended and will be resumed tomorrow at 1pm at Heritage Hills. Pate is down 8-4 in the bottom of the 3rd.

Pate advances with a win over Funkhouser 9-2. Conner Watson went the distance allowing 4 hits and 1 earned run. Gabe Wilke and Bryce Minton each had 2 hits. Jayden Walter drove in 2 runs. Pate will play Rockport at noon tomorrow at Heritage Hills.

UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: Pate will now play Funkhouser Post 8 at 7pm at Heritage Hills in the 1st round of the Regional

UPDATE: Pate will play Jasper at 3 p.m. Central on Friday at Ruxer Field in Jasper to open legion tournament play.

First night of the American Legion regional in Rockport has been rained out Thursday night. We'll post updated schedule information when it becomes available.

Post 265 picks up a win over Terre Haute Wayne Newton 13-1. Conner Watson picked up the win going the distance. Simon Schulz, Mason Renfro and Watson all had 3 hits. Pate will play last regular season game Saturday vs Harrisburg

Tyler Singleton goes 6 innings allowing 1 hit and striking out 9 as Post 265 beats Jasper 8-2. Tyler Rinehart, Jayden Walter, Conner Watson and Singleton all had 2 hits a piece. Pate now 12-5 and will play Terre Haute Wayne Newton Thursday at VU.

Post 265 beats Funkhouser Post 8 5-0. Xavier Monroe gets the win going 6 innings, striking out 6 and allowing 3 hits. Gabe Wilke led Pate with 2 hits. Pate now 11-5 on the year and will play Jasper 6pm Wednesday night at North High School.

Pate gets walked off by Rockport 6-5. Issac Mittsdarfer went 5 innings allowing one run. Jayden Walter had 4 hits and Xavier Monroe added 2 doubles. Ryne Wilhite added 2 hits and 2 RBI’s.
