@EuamIraq & partners concluded Phase II of the CVE Train-the-Trainer programme ,a six -month effort that equipped 25 professionals to deliver CVE training nationwide, strengthening Iraq’s national capacity & resilience to counter violent extremism.

Effective emergency response requires clear command structures & joint mechanisms. In this context, EUAM Iraq held a 1-day workshop on Cross-sectorial Incident Command for OPS, Police & Civil Defence — ahead of December’s study visit to Denmark. Stay tuned for more.

@EuamIraq HoM Ralf Schroeder welcomed Mr. Valentin Nicolov, Chargé d’affaires of the Republic of Bulgaria in Baghdad. He briefed him on the Mission’s mandate and activities and discussed ways to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise.

@EuamIraq conducted a 2-day Integrated Border Management (IBM) workshop in Baghdad, led by Swedish Police & ICMPD experts, with participation from Border Guard, Customs Police, Organised Crime, Passports & Residency, and the Border Ports Commission.

@EuamIraq received a delegation from Frontex and coordinated meetings with Iraqi counterparts to advance cooperation and support Iraq’s efforts in strengthening border management and security.
