Deficit split squats are a great option when aiming to increase range of motion and time under tension β€” two key ingredients for hypertrophy. They also challenge the hips/pelvis to maintain stability. We typically programme these earlier in the week, especially at tournaments.

Just Golfers Squatting Inseason from last week in πŸ‡¨πŸ‡ @Etpi . In-season golf squatting (low volume, high intensity) boosts lower body power & stability, key for swing speed & injury prevention. 1-2x/week, we aim to maintain strength without fatigue.

Missed cuts = opportunities . Missed cuts are one of most professional golfers biggest frustrations. But every missed cut also presents opportunities. 2 days extra off competitive golf allows a golfer to add volume & or intensity to their training programmes between tournaments.

Partial squats from the rack are a great way to get high loads through a player in a golf specific range of motion. A limited range also means the player is likely to take on less overall fatigue than a full depth squat - making the exercise a great in-tournament option’. Note

Med ball throws β›³οΈπŸŒπŸ»β€β™‚οΈπŸ’ͺ🏼. Upper limb explosive strength is an important requirement for golfers and has been linked with clubhead and ball speed . Med ball throw variations like this one performed by @DPWorldTour pro Joel Moscatel help to develop this. Med ball throws and slams
