We already know that many Americans have elevated cholesterol, blood pressure, BMI, diabetes and/or CKD. Using the PREVENT equations, our study newly integrates these and quantifies the long-term CVD risks accounting for all of them.

🚨 New in JACC: Advances! We analyzed NHANES data pre/post-COVID to examine trends in lipid-lowering therapy (LLT) among U.S. adults. ✅ LLT use increased modestly post-pandemic, especially among women and Black adults. 🚫 But <40% of eligible adults still receive LLT.
