Great to be able to work with @Wildscapes to improve some of the ponds on the Estate to benefit a plethora of wildlife, right in the heart of the farmed landscape. #natureconservation #pondrestoration #farmpond

Hi @KapilaSandy, Just wondering what the situation is if we have a 2000ac+ Countryside Stewardship Scheme Mid Tier application in (and received) but heard nothing back? Do we assume that we have got it and establish the desired outcomes? #help #css2024 @JanetHughes @EscrickPark

With dogs off leads in the last month on the estate causing at least 1 sheep attack and multiple instances of disturbing the wild bird population it is vital that we all keep dogs on leads.

Thrilled to have these three Little Ringed Plovers survive as a result of great cooperation and some brilliant spotting by the local bird watching community! #environmentalwin

2/2 Thanks to a great partnership with @YorkBirding, @EscrickPark & @rolawn, operations were delayed with the pair given the space required - a fantastic response leading to the successful rearing of a brood of three LRP. Very grateful for the efforts resulting in this outcome 🐦

1/2 What a load of Rubbish! Today the whole team conducted a litterpick on the roadside verges and hedgelines bordering the Estate. The team worked incredibly hard and collected everything from car tyres to vaccum cleaners and everything inbetween.

2/2 Perhaps instead of releasing balloons or inflatables for kids parties and marking special occasions we could plant a tree, something which we can watch grow and be a lasting memory for years to come? #litter #flytipping #inflatablebaloons

1/2 We were saddened to pick this balloon up from one of our fields today. It had clearly been released to mark a difficult time for someone, but this is not only a terrible way to litter the countryside but also a huge risk to livestock and wildlife.#litter #flytipping
