The tropical wave in the Gulf of Mexico now has a 50% chance of development. It should land near the border and not come to Houston, but as I’ve said, some areas will get heavy rain. 🌧️

The NHC now gives the tropical wave in the Gulf of Mexico a 40% chance of developing. Even if it doesn’t strengthen into a depression or tropical storm, the Houston area will still get scattered heavy downpours. ☔️ .

This is concerning. For the second time this week, a Cleveland ISD bus crashed … sending 58 student to the hospital. 🚌. Earlier this week, another bus crashed on the SAME road (FM 1010 in Liberty County — which is NE of Houston).

Houston: we’re keeping an eye on a tropical wave in the Caribbean. 👀 Right now, the National Hurricane Center is giving it only a 20% chance of developing in the next 7 days, but regardless — it makes our rain chances go up. ⬆️.

A 32 year-old man shot and killed three people outside a Target on Research Boulevard in Austin today. Smh. He’s been caught.

All eyes on Texas. Democratic lawmakers have left the state in order to break quorum. In response, Governor Greg Abbott has ordered them to be “tracked down” and arrested so they can vote on congressional redistricting. 😕.
