We finished our Spring Road trip today in my @Ford Lightning. Drove 7,741 from SoCal to Maine to visit Acadia NP and back home. Took two side trips into Canada. Added 71 new counties to my list, now at 1721 Counties visited in the US. Thanks to my wife for putting up with it all.

I was watching one of @BeardedTesla video where he hit the debris on the road and they stopped at a @TeslaCharging V4 supercharger in El Centro, CA, but I noticed they headed south off the freeway. I looked on my @Tesla app and didn't see a V4 supercharger open to non-Teslas

Hey @CBP @CBPSanDiego is this a public road along the border fence? This is in Campo, CA. I wouldn’t think it is, but it has road signs and speed limit signs. Anyone know? Would make for an interesting drive, but don’t want to get in trouble. Also right by the start of the PCT.

The guy tried to give me $20 but I refused. I said I helped him out, and maybe someone will help me out when I need it. And the tow truck driver told me good job and gave me knuckles. I’d figured they be irked that I stole a tow from them.

Was on PCH today and saw a truck stuck in the sand presumably from making a wide U-Turn. I keep recovery gear in my @Ford Lightning (for off roading) so I turned around and pulled him out. As I was done a tow truck showed up. The Lightning pulled the Ram out like a champ.

On a Southwest flight and they have USB ports. I don’t think I’ve ever seen USB ports on a @SouthwestAir flight before. I guess if they are going to charge for bags and soon seat selection, they can provide some amenities. The whole assigned seats is going to be a cluster.

Another issue at the @ionnaofficial station is they used the wrong handicap signs. Stall 3B and 4A are for exclusive use by cars with handicap placards. The last picture is what should have been used. @brandenflasch I believe we have had this discussion before and you agreed

Went to the Vista, CA @ionnaofficial Rechargery Relay this evening. I got there around sunset. It is very dark by station 1 and 5 once the sun fully sets, and the entire station is quite dark. There is only one light, and it’s beyond the further chargers for the drive lane. Ionna

Is the @Tesla @TeslaCharging app down? Myself and 2 other EVs weren’t able to start a charge via the Tesla app. It states connection to the charger lost. We are at the Santa Clarita, CA - Newhall Ranch Road Supercharger.

Quite the week for the Roe vehicles this week. All three of them hitting a new century mark. All 3 @Ford’s, 48k for the F53, 96k for the Explorer, and 50k for the Lightning.

Went into Lassen Volcanic National Park last night after sunset to do some astrophotography. Parked at the Bumpass Hell trailhead lot which is at 8,200 ft.

Trying out my Dwarf 3 for the first time. First pic is the moon, and the others are NGC 281, also known as the Pacman Nebula. 332 stacked 15 second exposures. I still have a lot to learn but I’m impressed with the first try, especially with all the light pollution around me.
