I would be very surprised if the heritage 7 have 'adequate knowledge of the Malay language' as required under Art 19. The standard is higher compared to Art 16 requiring 'elementary knowledge of the Malay language'. Or can the Minister exempt that too??!!

Please stop FAM. Unless u can challenge the authenticity of the original birth certificates that FIFA retrieved from Brazil, Argentina & Spain, u are not in any position to assert that the players' grandparents were born in Msia.

Of coz the scandal runs deeper than just football. NRD & KDN issued birth certificates & passports to foreigners who are not qualified/entitled to the documents. Other public institutions like Youth & Sports Ministry also provided the support necessary to perpetrate this fraud.

Essentially, RCE are convened to look into matters of significant public importance. Don't let those who are responsible continue to cover-up, downplay or divert the scandal. Take this opportunity to reform football in Msia. There are no short cuts in life & in football.

I would prefer an RCE as who can trust govt authorities to investigate having seen how they have handled this whole fiasco? People responsible, grown-ups, who should know better, dropped the ball & let the country down. Now Msia's reputation is in tatters beyond repair.
