#Bitcoin can't be defeated by the SEC. I'm dramatically stating how far I'd go to stand behind #Bitcoin .

Even if they removed all the on and off ramps. Even if they made it a crime to use it. I believe #Bitcoin would still be used. It would still thrive. And that hypothetical "War on #Bitcoin " would inevitably fail too.

@EricOfRivia The SEC will be as effective at stopping Bitcoin as, the DEA was effective at stopping people from smoking pot.

@sarah_nakamoto I agree. Personally, I think like every recent event in last year with Terra Luna, FTX, the bank failures, Binance it will only empower #Bitcoin . Those empires were parasites on #Bitcoin in a bull market, and as fast as they arrived, #Bitcoin shook them off.

@EricOfRivia There is nothing for the @SECGov to go after, they've said it is an asset, a commodity, there's no "there" there... #BTC is like a house, or land, or gold & silver. Also; how tf would they go after it? 😂 Satoshi was a genius who knew the gov would try to destroy ir. Impossible.

@Scavacini777 @SECGov The same way they go after a house, or land, or any asset. Tax your ownership of it. But unlike all those other things, it's damn near impossible to tax #Bitcoin ownership. With that new ability established, it makes everyone realize why they're taxed for their assets at all.

@MadisIT I don't have any idea how it would be defeated. I didn't even necessarily mean if it were defeated by the SEC. I just meant defeated in general. All the crypto people are basically saying goodbye to their cryptos already. What Im saying is #Bitcoin isn't so easily abandoned

@EricOfRivia I'm with you on that hill. I have held btc for 10 years. Went through the "first they ignore you" and the "then they laugh at you" phases, waiting patiently for the "then they fight you" phase. And now, finally, it is here. Now we see if we make it to "and then they join you".
